Evan Freed

Evan Freed is an M.S. student in the department of Soil and Environmental Sciences, working with Francisco Arriaga and co-advised by Matt Ginder-Vogel. Evan received his B.S. in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023 before beginning his graduate studies in 2024, and his research focuses on neonicotinoid insecticide and nitrate leaching from sandy soils. In his free time Evan enjoys reading and rock climbing.
